Rene Marie Russo is an American actor, filmmaker, and a former supermodel. Alongside her stunning appearance, her steady success in the film industry is testament to her abilities as a performer. When she was a model in her early years, she started in the 70s. She quickly became prominent within the world of modeling. In the early 1990s she was enrolled in theatre and acting. In the following years, in Los Angeles and California she appeared on stage for the first time. Russo first appeared on television on ABCs Sable as Eden Kendell, in 1987. Two years later, she was Tom Berengers lover in Major League. Critics were initially skeptical of her talent as an actor, but her consistent performances won them over. They especially loved her in Wolfgang Petersens Outbreak where she held herself against the likes of Dustin Hoffman and Morgan Freeman. In her own words, she was never a fanatic about acting. Rose Namajunas has been one of UFC's most prominent female athletes. Her journey began as an amateur fighter, competing at various regional competitions. Since her entry into the UFC She has become a household name due to her success within and outside the octagon. Namajunas' family is Lithuanian as was her birthplace in Lithuania on the 29th of June in 1992. Rose played sports like basketball and kickeboxing when she was growing to be a teenager. Invicta Fighting Championships was her first fight in professional. She was just 18 and had already won two bouts via submission. Dana White took notice of her performance and had her admitted to the UFC's strawweight class in December 2014 when Rose was barely 22. Rose has experienced extremes and lows throughout her career. She has always come out the winner. Rose was a fighter against Carla Esparza at The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale in April of 2015. Rose was awarded the Women's Strawweight Championship and also won Fighter of The Night. It was the first time that a female wrestled in a major event in a title fight. Namajunas had several successful fights after this win, including defeating Joanna Jedrzejczyk on two occasions. This resulted in Namajunas Performance Of The Night recognition from UFC.
